Na'ama Arom and Yang Qiao presented their papers in the panel on "Contact, Communication and Exchange in Mongol Iran". Na'ama's paper was entitled A Land of Many Colours – Religion in Mongol Iran under the Il-Khan Arghun (1284-1291) and Qiao's The Maragha Observatory: a Centre of Knowledge Transfer During the Mongol Empire.
